Life through the lens...

Still plenty of flowers which have survived while we were away, and also survived the wind and rain since we returned home.

Today has been mainly sunny. Only a slight shower, and an bit warmer.

We had our Covid jabs this morning. MrC went to collect a prescription from the chemist in the village yesterday, and they said we could come today without an appointment.
Only had to wait about 5mins. All very efficient. We could also have had our flu jab, but that is already booked at the doctors for 2nd October.

MrC then asked if I would like to go out for brunch. As if I would say ‘ No’!
So we went to The Beulah and I had my usual ham and mushroom omelet. MrC his usual bacon sandwich. It was nice to see the place almost full. Not surprising as the staff are so friendly, the food is good and prices reasonable.

Then a walk to the pond. The Canada goose is still there on it’s own, along with about 20 mallards and the moorhens with two new chicks. The third lot I think.
Back home and it has just started raining, so we did well to miss it.
