Ingunn in Oslo

My beloved Oslo - Megasize #Anne Britt

New sculpture in town! And I love that somebody have placed an umbrella over her!  (Been heavy rain in Oslo lately)

I recognise this lady! See my blip "small people" in  2012

Gisle Harr has made the sculpture from a large log of oak and processed with a chainsaw. Gisle Harr has worked with smaller and larger portrait sculptures for many years, and always wanted the sculpture to represent a dimensional shift in relation to reality.  This is made in 1:1.5 size and is a portrait of a real person; Anne Britt. She represents an everyday person, a woman in the middle of life, not famous, just living an ordinary life. A tribute to life itself!
