And we’re off! Day 1

After we both had colds, and after the spare parts for the camper van were delayed, we finally set off for our trip south more-or-less as planned.
As always there was a lot of last minute stuff, mostly to do with the house we are leaving for a few weeks, rather than the van. Eventually we left a bit before 3 o’clock and drove fairly solidly until a bit after 8 this evening.
Jan found us a place to stay as we were beginning to get tired and now we are parked for the night outside Scandinavia’s largest camper van showroom! Strangely enough they offer free camping and apparently we can get a free coffee in the morning too!
The picture was taken at our first road-side stop, by the lake Ångersjön, just 100m from the E4. A great place for a picnic but we had places to go!
