Bow steering a Stampfli

Getting used to bow steering a quad on the Caledonian canal. It’s just fine until you need to steer and for some reason everyone eases off. It can cause the stern to swing slightly further than you had anticipated and result in complaints from the stern rowers as they have to contend with avoiding tangling their oars in overhanging vegetation.
