Fluffball

Following a lovely post-work stroll over Chapel Common with the dogs I popped along to see the goslings at Shottermill Ponds this afternoon while Son2 had his drum lesson. They are growing at quite a rate now and I'm still very fond of them but I found myself swayed by three tiny ducklings who appeared out of the reeds as I was about to leave. They were incredibly fast, speeding around the pond while I struggled to keep up with them and their mother seemed to have no control over them whatsoever (I know how that feels). I hope she reins them in soon or they'll get themselves into all sorts of peril...
