Pondering

A bewhiskered judge at a local hedgelaying competition this afternoon.  It was held at the top of the hill above our house, so we wandered along.  It was blowing a gale on the down, but in the dips it was a little lighter.

The hedges were being laid "Dorset Style", according to a pair of contestants, and very attractive the result was too – Extra.
