Crummock Water

The Lakes were at their magnificent, moody, torrential dampness this afternoon as we stretched our legs from Buttermere along the shore of Crummock Water towards Scale Force.

We didn’t reach the falls, didn’t see much point so we turned back to Buttermere, looked at the Sour Milk Ghyll falls instead.

Nice to get back, shower and change. We’re having dinner with our friends Jane and Adam and their dog Brody this evening. Tomorrow looks as better day but not good enough for a planned walk to Esk Pike and Great End.

There may not be many comments this week, but thank you for yesterday’s responses to the tea making techniques at the Mainsgill cafe.
