Hardy Survivor

I am not certain what species of tree this is but I do know it's an evergreen variety. Its leaves must last a relatively long time, relative to deciduous types. I reckon this fella is an authentic survivor. It's had at least one big chomp taken out of it. It ain't real pretty ....  but it perseveres.
