Hoist the Flags, it Stopped Raining ....

.... for about an hour. I walked briskly to the neighbouring village taking photos of the few flowers that had survived the downpour of the past 2 days. I feel for the poor farmers as the meadows, which were waist high on me, are now completely flattened. I just hope they will spring back up.

I nearly gave you a "Fly on Ice", well it is actually on a wet iris petal but thought this scene was prettier. Large, wet, irises for you.
Thanks again for the terrific response to the bee on the blue aqualegia yesterday. D. thought a second day of blue flowers might be too much!
