We left the holiday cottage in Duror, bound for Glasgow to drop off the student in the family and then home to Edinburgh for the rest of us, and that meant the drive back through Glencoe. Howling winds and horizontal rain made for the briefest of photo stops. Spectacular as you like but I didn't really fancy hanging around.

In complete contrast by the time we reached Glasgow it was pretty glorious, certainly warm and sunny enough for alfresco sandwiches and coffees at some neighbourhood cafe in The West End.

Right, I've not spent hardly any time at home recently - I've either been overnight at work, or had people staying with us, or been away from home so....my sofa beckons.
