Surrounded

This old gentleman was surrounded by women.  He had come to get his COVID vaccination just before I had mine, and quipped about huge needles on his way out of the pharmacy.  In the café a few minutes later the proprietor came and exchanged banter, so I felt compelled to get a photo.

After he had finished his coffee he got up and asked, "What day is it?".  I replied that it didn't really matter and got a laugh from all around.  It seems that he would forget as soon as he was told; but perhaps we all forget stuff, sometimes intentionally.
