Hard to believe this morning that the weather would improve briefly but the Met Office was adamant there would be bright sunshine at 15:00. Lashing down all morning but at about 14:30 it was brightening up and I risked a walk in the park with Cali and a friend and it was quite warm in the sunshine. On returning I even had the patio doors open for a wee while before the rain returned. Haven't seen or heard any thunder which was also forecast. I don't mind if there is at least a brief period of nice weather. Too busy talking when we were out to take any photos with my camera.
