Car park Conkers.

It’s that time of year - when the car parks at work become covered in conkers. I find them irresistible - shiny warm colours that epitomise Autumn. I collect handfuls each year and they make their way into the car, various coat pockets, windowsills, bedside tables etc. If any colleagues happen to spot me they must wonder what on earth I’m up to, scrabbling around in the gravel and taking photos!! I noticed this season’s crop for the first time today, lots on the ground but way more in the trees waiting to fall. I’m sure I’ll collect more in the coming days and try and save them from getting squished : (
