Italian job

I bought this wine dispenser (if indeed that is what it is) in Italy in 1978, from a roadside stall on the coast road near Savona. Like many Italians, somehow it has found its way to Argentina. The bronze has a whole collection of patinas that I thought would come out looking good. I'm reasonably happy with it, but I think it would have been better if I had used a shorter focal length - this has a very narrow depth of field and the object is rather bulbous in shape. But the whole point of this blip thing for me is to learn about taking photographs (and have a bit of fun too).
