Late Summer Prettiness

My doctor called this morning to say she had arranged for another clinic to have look at my back.  

The offer was declined because it gets very tiring getting to places and waiting for hours for the inevitable "You have to do this, you have organise that, you have to..." and so on.

When did "Help" stop being helpful?  My suspicion is that it happened when they decided that "healthcare" had to be profitable rather than a service.  Never mind the quality, count the cash.

It's quite depressing.
