Cheshire Ploughing match

This was a much bigger event than Cruckton last week, but not quite so good. Only 3 pairs of horses, no threshing machine and £20 to get in. Plenty of expensive farming kit on display, so probably geared towards wealthy South Cheshire farmers.
Nevertheless, the horses were beautifully turned out and did their job well. Lots of people stopped by to watch them as they ploughed their patch.
