Almost Once

To the Brett Whiteley Studio in Surry Hills, prompted by a doco earlier this week on the court case surrounding sales of fraudulent copies of his work. This sculpture by the studio entrance is a smaller version of Whiteley’s Almost Once next to the Art Gallery of NSW. In hindsight I should have included the letterbox and door for scale.

The share house I lived in near here had a Whiteley drawing. Maybe. Someone found it blowing down the street and we pinned it to the back of the kitchen door.
