Glorious day today, wall to wall sunshine! Busy day for us too with a trip into Aberdeen at lunchtime for a quick catch up with old friends then over to St. Fergus for supper and drinks with some more.

A very unusual and enjoyable Monday! No time for anything but an EFB from the garden. This shrub is doing very well this year , totally covered in pretty pink flowers contrasting well with the purple foliage an effect that I like very much.
