Grasshopper

I decided to have a stress free day and do some gardening. I'm tidying up the borders and disturbed this grasshopper and also a little frog (I didn't get a clear photo of that). I also ordered a bulk bag of peat free compost that I tried a couple of years ago and liked. I'll probably use half for mulching, the rest for pots. It's made locally by anaerobic digestion of cereal and grass crops, producing a nice crumbly texture which is water retaining. I only got a quarter of the borders done as I had a call from my friend T and we had a nice long chat. I also put my garden furniture and glass panels in the garage for winter.
