Mini bromeliad

This tiny bromeliad (tillandsia ionantha) lives potless in the branch of our firewheel tree. The purple flower is tiny, max 4cm long and maybe 2mm across at the top where you see its yellow stamens and sticky white stigma. It was a gift from our plant loving house minder some years ago and it's finally kicked in, happy in its possie, collecting the rain and air.
