The Pensioner

Minky day again

And having to be a single parent for once. Nightmare! But ever resourceful MrP had the smart idea of going to the museum. Not only will the wee one occupy herself trekking round the little activities in their creative space or whatever, but we get two half hour bus rides thrown in which is just the best fun. Who didn't love sitting upstairs in the bus when they were a wee kid?
Back home for lunch; pizza in the oven, then a low key afternoon. I decide not to be too ambitious and allow some TV time. The SK, briefly appearing to croakily say hello before disappearing again, tells me this is known as child-centred learning.
And then a play-doh session for us. Her head is very full of little red riding hood and that wolf, so a wolf is made, and a granny to be devoured. Complete with tartan shopping trolley. Ach, she’s good fun.
Later, off to the Diggeries. MrT is down watching the toon and with many of the boys off sunning themselves in various principalities, I thought it was just going to be me and MrW but there was Frank - sitting at the bar! And Rog showed up too. The place was mobbed. There were even young people playing backgammon. We need a dedicated OAP night or maybe we need to turn up earlier....
