Wanderings & Witterings

Warm

The last full day of our trip to France saw us take a two-hour coach journey up to the city of Albi. It's a town that has an amazing brick-built cathedral, a museum dedicated to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, who was born in the city, and lots of other wee nooks and crannies worth visiting. A warm day to wander around, but plenty of places to find shade... and refreshments.

In the evening, back in Carcassonne, we had dinner in a Michelin-starred restaurant in the old town to round off what had been an excellent and most relaxing holiday.

One last photo of Carcassonne taken on the way back to the hotel as my Blip for the day.
