The Singing Drumlin

Cumbria Wildlife Trust was hosting an exhibition of aeolian sculptures on top of a drumlin ( small hill left by a glacier)   at Bowber Head Farm .  Not exactly sure what we were going to see and having a friend who rents a flat in the farm complex we went over to Ravenstonedale to take a look and meet up with friend P.  Aeolian means "Relating to the action of the wind".    It was windy and the installations were working really well.  I recorded the sounds but I can't attach that to blip. The blip is of one of the installations, there were three different ones and some drums again operated by the wind, all very clever.  If the wind keeps up, friend P will be listening to the "singing" for three days . We took him to the Fat Lamb pub nearby  for refreshments and to to escape the singing.
