Inspired by a new building.

I visited my friend, Peter today. He has moved from hospital to Summerhill Nursing home. He has an en-suite room with a lovely view of sky, trees and rooftops.
It used to be a hospital but the entire building - except for the tower in the picture - was re- built in the 1990’s. Much of the red sandstone, unusual for this area, has been re-used so that the building sits comfortably in its environment.
It was good to see my friend being well cared for.
