from the community garden - i turned the corner - and saw this line - of pink flowers - the sun hitting - them just so - and knew it had to be

there’s something about - the way flowers tend - to whither and fade - do a slow and - steady process to the - giving out of their lives - it’s not rushed - it’s as though - each step has - meaning and grace - a beautiful journey - before saying goodbye - and i like that it’s- that way because - each phase provides - a unique opportunity - for a photographer to capture - moments unlike any other

and to ponder - if you’re so inclined - about the wonders - of life; how much bigger - it is than we - and who might be - at the center of it all - as a christ follower - of course, it’s my - abba father, my creator redeemer - the great ‘i am’ - who painted alive this - wonderful planet so that - i could enjoy…
