Last red zinnia

I cut the two remaining red zinnias to enjoy their beauty in the house. I plan on saving the seed heads of these so I can plant them in early spring. I think I will also sow seeds in midsummer since they would have plenty of time to bloom.

Weird to be thinking about next summer’s flowers! When I like fall and winter best!
