Plague village

A visit to Eyam, known as the plague village, to do a walk but had a quick visit first. When the plague reached the village in 1665 they chose to go into isolation to prevent the spread of the disease. 260 died out of a population of 800. Reading the boards outside many of the houses which are still standing was so sad. Must return.
