Western Approaches Museum

On a wet day this is a great visit and with the WRNS part of the museum now open there is so much more to see.A lot of WRNS where dispatch riders using Triumph,BSA (also known as Best Scrap Available) and Royal Enfields. The bikes where small capacity 250-350 cc. The bike in the picture could be a Bullet or at least very similar. The stories of their dedication and heroism are extraordinary.
The extra tells the story of a local Merchants Taylors girl. Merchants is still one of the prominent private schools in Liverpool providing excellent education. I know that private education gets the small minded lefties foaming at the mouth but honestly in this life there has to be something better than the mediocrity they offer.I fear the left and what they stand for.

On the nursery I spent a very wet morning steam cleaning around the yard including the trailer.Had planned to get finished by lunch but as things tend to do it overran into the afternoon.

Wet day.
