Big wuss

Here's Duke this morning looking very anxiously out of the front door at J packing the car, not entirely convinced he won't be left behind.  Really, for such a massive dog with a big presence he's something of a wuss, especially where his beloved man is concerned!  Anyway, they both got off okay, so the house is very quiet, but they should be back tomorrow evening, which I'm already looking forward to.

The rest of the day has been peaceful.  I'm done a lot of washing and some gardening - and of course some reading.  We haven't seen the sun all day, but at least it's warmish and the clothes have time to dry outside.
