Chord

A chord is the musical term for a group of notes, typically a minimum of three, being played together as the basis of harmony. Not all instruments can play chords but guitars can. 

This guitar belongs to M. He's owned it for decades and has recently rediscovered it. As I write I hear a twanging sound emanating from upstairs.
