Colourful Grass

On my walk today I spotted this wonderful coloured grass alongside the bridleway. I can’t say that I have seen anything like it before….there was just one lone stalk that I could see. I love the purple and yellow colours. . There was a slight breeze and the yellow pollen was blowing off in clouds at the slightest movement. Sadly, I didn’t capture that!
