Wasp Beetle

Spent the morning gardening or rather weeding as the garden is overrun with weeds wildflowers! Even though there was not a lot of sun it was warm and great to be out. Lots of insects flying by but I was struck by this colourful little chappie. Had to look up what it was . You learn something every day when blipping! It's a beetle that masquerades as a wasp. Obviously likes dressing up.
