Barren Grounds

Anything but barren, this nature reserve was mesmerising with all the spring wildflowers putting on a truly Australian floriade.

It's supposedly popular with birdwatchers, but was beautifully quiet until we got to Stone Bridge - the sort of place you do want to linger.

Great views too, although not as clear as it might have been.

I managed to turn sunburn into sun blisters, hopefully they'll heal soon.
