Volunteering day

All go for the first part of the day doing the washing (well, hanging it out, Keepfit, shopping and lunch. Then a couple of hours down at the ponds litter picking, cutting back overgrown vegetation and enjoying the wildlife.
A new wood was planted a few years back and now is thriving with much fruit in evidence this year, especially the hazels, oaks and rowans.
The swans came to investigate, the adult had obviously been preening as it had feathers on its beak.
Cuppa and biscuit and home for a snooze and online catch oom prayer meeting this evening so I thought I'd get everything done before then.
P.S. I think yesterday's fur may have been from the roe deer that have been visiting, what does anyone else think?
