Type C

The engine of a Jaguar XK140, a 3.4 litre straight six.  I was helping the owner with his battery, a tiny thing by modern standards, which needed charging.  It was located low and to one side of the engine, rather inaccessible unless you're flexible and able-bodied.

It's over two months since he last drove it, having strained his lower back when he lifted a petrol container to replenish the tank.  He's resigned that he'll never drive it again since he cannot enter the diminutive cockpit; he'll have to sell it.
