A Window and a Water Wheel

M and I drove to Huntingdon today to meet M’s daughter and new husband A (and their Cockapoo Pollydog) for lunch. They live on the edge of the Cotswolds so Huntingdon was just over a two hour drive for each of us.

We had a four hour lunch at the riverside pub, Brampton Mill which is on the river Great Ouse, very good it was too.

The water wheel turns in a gap between two of the pub windows as you can see in the photo.

It was great to have a catch up as we haven’t seen them since their wedding in August. I can see this being a regular meeting spot for us all.
