Out on a School Night

Another busy day. Tom had a telephone appointment with the Oncologist today regarding the PACE trial. You may have read about it in the news recently. He has been offered a shorter but more intensive radiotherapy course. He will be randomised into one of two groups. Group one, the prostate gland is irradiated, group two the prostate and surrounding lymph nodes will be irradiated.

I met up with Julie, Clare and Caroline, my swimming pals. We had a lovely dinner at Amatos before listening to Grace Dent at her new book launch, “Comfort Eating.’
She was very entertaining and I laughed a lot.
