Brown Honeyeater

Alice Springs Desert Park is a wonderful desert aviary/zoo, with entirely local species from Central Australia. A great way to see some of the famous desert birds and animals, even if you can't find them in the wild! There were plenty of wild birds too, including many Brown and Singing Honeyeaters feeding on the flowering Honey Grevillea, and gorgeous Splendid Fairy-wrens pecking around at our feet.
