Old Wash House pump

This old pump was knocking about in the garage when we moved to our house over 30 years ago. It was used to pump water into a copper for washing to be boiled up. There is 900 gallon tank underground in the back garden which collects all the rain water from the back half of the roof. It was beautifully built out of brick and has an arched roof which we found when we were digging about to see where it was. My handy husband kindly restored the old pump and put it into our old wooden greenhouse. Magic ! Rainwater to water my plants. We live in one of the driest parts of the country and so it's better not to use a hose if we can manage without
