Birdwatching wall...

If only all birds sat this nicely to have their photo taken!!  We were in Southend this morning for a spot of shopping, and this is another one of the images from the recent City Jam event which is one of the permanent designs on a wall by the bus depot!

And a very happy day to visit Southend today as my team, Southend United recorded a win last night on the pitch,  and an even bigger win off the pitch as the sale of the club is going through.  The outgoing chairman has run the club into the ground and it was looking ever more likely that the club would cease to exist today as they were taken to court by HMRC for unpaid bills.... thankfully disaster was averted at the last second so hopefully better times are on the way!
