Funny bones

Does anyone remember the Funny Bones books ? On a dark , dark hill, there was a dark,dark town and in the dark, dark town etc, etc.
We made skeletons at Brownies today to tie in with their First Aid Badge. It was meant to be a quick task while we waited for everyone to arrive but it took them 30 minutes to cut out the bones and put them together.
One of the parents stayed to help. She’s a doctor so talked to the girls about what to do in an emergency, they had a go at the recovery position and putting on a triangular bandage.
Mike left at lunch time for his business trip in London so I walked down , just before a downpour luckily.
Catherine gave me a lift home.
Spent the evening catching up on Bake Off :)
