Golden Plovers

A walk around Brodgar. Some pretty heavy downpours today. The flock of golden plovers was easily 1000+. At home I enlarged one shot and colour-coded each bird and got 882, but there were other smaller flocks in the air too. Other birds were- curlews, cormorants, ravens, shovelers, tufted duck, snipe, lapwings etc.
