A funny disjointed day with our bodyclocks all over the place. We landed back in the UK early morning but as neither of us slept during the flight it feels like we've been running on adrenaline.

As another tour member, who has also been doing a similar 'cold' concurrent to ours, tested +ve for Covid on Sat evening (despite taking the precaution of mask wearing during her journey over and also isolating herself prior) we had a strong suspicion that maybe we, too, had caught it on board the plane and it was behind the 'cold' symptoms. We had been wearing masks anyway so we didn't spread the love during the trip, but tested as soon as we could on reaching the UK and yes, we are both +ve.  It would explain the fatigue we've both experienced; other than that, the symptoms were easier than a regular cold although I could wish that it hadn't occurred at this particular time when we just wanted a couple of relaxed weeks.  We're both well past the public mingling guidelines in terms of the timeline but didn't want to share it with daughter and SIL who are off on their own exciting adventures on Saturday. So that meant our planned meal out together had to be cancelled. Given their surname is Collier we found it amusing that this pub next to the hotel where we're staying could've been a potential meeting place :-)

We did meet up with them out in their garden to hand over the little bits we'd found them as mementoes. So sad not to be able to give them a big hug though. 

It's hard to keep the eyes open so I'm about to get some shut-eye. Night night zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
