Autumn Heat

A walk through the prairie at the end of another hot day. Lovely light, but it doesn't last very long now. Strategic choices to be made as long shadows fall across the landscape. I saw the great blue heron up in a tree and several robins which have been absent for a while.

Extra: Under Leaf Bug. Not sure what kind though. It was a flash of orange, so I followed it.
