New Shoes

We had a concert at my local theatre to raise money for a huge campaign to raise £100,000 to buy the other half of our building. (See Save the Wesley)

I got there a bit late due to a scheduling cock up, then ran about like a nutter for about 10 hours trying to run the sound desk for all the rehearsals while at the same time sort out everyone's backing tracks, mic lists and cues. By 10.30pm I realised I'd eaten very little, hardly sat down at all and was absolutely knackered.

It was a great concert and raised £1600 but it took me about 2 days to recover.

This is one of the acts that night singing Paolo Nutini's track New shoes. She has an amazing low Alto voice and unbelievably is only 15.
