The second half of life..

By twigs

Awwww......

A fairly full day which has felt good.  I think my energy levels are getting much closer to returning to normal after the cold........over a month ago!

Coffee with B was lovely.  Other members of our wee coffee-girls group were spread around  the Island and unable to make it or needed to stay home for when the real estate photographer turned up.  All good - I know we'll get together soon enough.

Headed to town afterwards for a meeting at the museum.  Looking at the possibility of our camera club co-hosting a speaker from Wellington - came away with plenty of positivity, a few more options/possibilities and a heap of inspiration having also looked through a photography exhibition they're hosting at the moment -
TE ARA O HINE RÄ’HIA: A journey into the world of kapa haka by Melissa Banks.  A great exhibition that explores one of the unique features of modern Maori - kapa haka.....the coming together of cultural performances in a competitive but supportive environment.  Lots of behind-the-scenes images as well as performance images.  Loved it.
Back to my car to head away and that's where I met this gorgeous wee thing parked in a car alongside my car.  Turns out 'dad' had just had to pop into the bank and this was the first time she'd been left on her own.  She seemed curious about me and keen to make contact.........and dad didn't mind at all if I took some pics of her.  She was very pleased when he got back in the car and virtually leaped onto his lap when he sat down.  Not something she'll be able to do for in the future though as she's likely to grow to be over 50kgs!

Off then to deliver mower for its annual service then home where I began work on cleaning some wooden blinds.  It's tedious, but it'll be worth it when they're done.

Last thing for the day was to walk down to M & J's to water M's greenhouse veges and strawberries.

A lovely wonderfully productive day :D  Now...........the cricket!  NZ v England........a bit of a grudge match after our last world cup meeting......
