Returning to the pool

I haven't seen many birds except the usual doves, wrens, chickadees and titmouse but today as I was wondering what to blip this little yellow girl decided to take a dip in the pool.   There was another yellow bird that was skirmishing with her for pool rights but she chased it off.   I really wanted that photo but it did not come out usable.

Off to the mountains tomorrow with a cousin to meet up with our other cousin for apple orchard visit and lunch together.   The cousin we are visiting had her 85th birthday this week so we want to celebrate!!

Hoping we might see some fall color at the higher elevation but I don't  think it has happened there yet.
