SO PRETTY

For some odd reason, probably bee health, Wisconsin has an explosion of colorful flowers in the fall. We all know that bees need a lot of honey to make it through a Wisconsin winter so this is Mother Nature's way of "putting on the feed bag" for them.

I especially like the purple and pink Fall Blooming Asters (Aster tartaricus). They just seem to pop up everywhere and almost overnight.  When the early morning sunlight beams on them it's a real eye catcher.  And the bees are delighted.
