Autumn blaze

Every year I try and get a good shot of this, and every year I think I could do better......next year !

The bush sits at  the opening of a driveway into the Ardtaraig Estate  on the road from Glendaruel to Dunoon and can only be seen properly when driving  west  as there is a clear straight  stretch for about 300 yards leading up to it.   Driving the other way it is invisible until glimpsed in the rear view mirror. 

Today was a bit overcast but the sense of blazing colour is there, if not all the intensity ,which is perhaps also a product of its less dramatic surroundings.
