The Lozarithm Lens

By Lozarithm

Flower Friday (6th October 2023)

Another boring day of admin, e-mails and phonecalls, mostly to do with cars and plumbing. The pelargoniums in the Front Yard were catching the light quite nicely, until I went out to try to get a shot. I rather liked the way these petals are starting to perish.

Thanks to Biker Bear for Flower Friday.

Lozarithm's Lozarhythm Of The Day:
Dawn of Midi - Io (2013)
While I've been going through and throwing out old copies of music magazines I've also been playing their attendant CDs. I have reached January 2017 and on that month's Mojo was Dream Forever, inspired by Kate Bush's recent return to the stage. From it this track comes from an album called Dysnomia and is named from 'the tormented priestess of Hera', whom Zeus turned into a cow, and also the extraordinary innermost moon of Jupiter. The Dawn Of Midi are described as a minimalist jazz trio from Brooklyn NY.
